Irony of Mental Health provision and the impact on Police resources.

Today, there has been concern raised about UK NHS  Mental Health services - yet again.

This is from the Police who feel they are left  soley to deal with providing a 'place of safety' in a cell,  in the absence of secure mental health hospital beds and other support services, for those with serious mental health issues. They are pushing for more resources and support from health providers. They speak from a strong position when it comes to getting resources. All they need to do is tell the local council tax payer that they are going to have the 'Policie precept' element on their council bill increased; there wil be no discussion to the polices demands and the Police will be handed the money!  Whereas Mental Health services have to grovel to the Minister of Health to get some more dosh!

All I have to say is - "Wow!" as the police have  finally plucked their heads out of sand and recognised the real lack of support outside of their armoured bunkers.

The irony of their protestations is somewhat profound to me as it is their actions of arresting me falsely, then make it impossible to get reasonable answers or redress, make me frustrated, then angry, then depressed, anxious and  emotional (to the point of absolute) despair and having to accept the weakest of support, with the Poice failing in any basic 'Duty of Care'!

They created this 'mental rattle bag and nutty fruitcake' and it is a case of "firstly you need to clear up your own mess, officers! "

. . . . . Oh and yes, I do pay Council Tax  with mine equating to 11% of my income, on my band b property, (Although I do concede to getting the concession of 25% reduction for living on my own, clearly something to be grateful for until they issue all the officers tazers costing god knows what. At least they are not being issued with guns (yet) to fire upon people they do not like, as I could literally be in the 'line of fire').

Irony (from Ancient Greek εἰρωνεία (eirōneía), meaning "dissimulation, feigned ignorance"), in its broadest sense, is a rhetorical device, literary technique, or event in which what appears, on the surface, to be the case, differs radically from what is actually the case.
